~ What path to take? ~

The walls that I have built that surround me whole,

Are built with leftover fragments of my soul.

The anger and pain are but a few,

That make up the barrier that keeps me from you.

You who are you exactly?

Are you important or are you not?

Do you know where my heart is, can you not find the spot?

An empty vessel is all I can see,

When I look to myself and try to find me.

A void a hole as black as the night,

But somehow someway I retain the will to fight.

As if burning on the empty fuel of fate

Maybe my world has passed, and I am too late.

What path did I take, or did I miss?

That brought me to a sweet heaven or hell such as this.
